Maintenance on line H8 - Suburban railway passes to be accepted on regional bus services
Valid: from 16 to 19 March 2023
Maintenance works on the suburban railway lines will continue in spring 2023. From 16 to 19 March 2023, replacement buses will run between Mogyoród and Gödöllő, Mogyoród and Szentjakab instead of suburban railway trains. We try to organise the works in such a way as to cause as little inconvenience as possible for our passengers. Our aim is to ensure that the service is predictable and punctual during the works.
In order to make daily travels and commuting to work or school as easy as possible during the maintenance works, the validity of suburban railway (monthly) passes will be temporarily extended to certain regional buses operated by Volánbusz.
During this period, passengers with suburban railway (monthly) passes valid from/to one of the suburban railway stations of Gödöllő* can also travel with the regional buses in the Gödöllő and Mogyoród area, listed in the table below. The services are available between Gödöllő and Mogyoród or Kistarcsa with a suburban railway pass, and from/to the terminus is Budapest with a suburban railway and Budapest-pass together.

Between Gödöllő and Budapest, passengers with both suburban railway and Budapest-passes can use MÁV-START trains in addition to regional buses. For this destination, a special ("common") monthly pass is also available, with which passengers can choose between suburban railway, regional trains and buses on any day.
